A condition that occurs when cancer cells spread from their original site to a bone.
Bone metastasis is a condition that occurs when cancer cells spread from their original site to a bone. This is more common with breast and prostate cancer. The pelvis and spine are commonly affected.
Symptoms include bone pain, broken bones and urinary incontinence.
Treatments include medicines, radiation, surgery, and procedures that use heat or cold to kill cancer cells.
