In 2020, the Saudi German Hospital - Jeddah started joining the Laboratory Accreditation Program (CAP) to become the first private health facility in Jeddah and its western region.
The laboratory accreditation committee visited the laboratory to inspect the used laboratory methods, medical devices and techniques, and the safety standards followed. The committee also audited the qualifications of workers and evaluated the laboratory management in general, and this visit ended with the hospital joining the laboratory accreditation program.
