Middle East Healthcare Company (Saudi German Health) announces the latest developments related to Sobhi Abduljaleel Batterjee Hospital, owned by Al-Sobh New Medical Company, as the hospital has obtained the final license from the Ministry of Health to operate as a healthcare facility and has commenced trial operations as of today, after completing all regulatory and procedural requirements.
This development comes as a continuation of what the company had previously announced regarding the signing of three main agreements Al-Sobh New Medical Company, namely:

1. Contract For Preparation, Qualification, And Supervision

2. Contract For the Trademark and Brand Name Usage (Saudi German Hospital)

3. Contract For Management and Operation

The company expects that obtaining the final license and commencing trial operations will enable the hospital to start receiving patients in the coming period, thereby supporting the company’s operational expansion plans and enhancing the quality of its medical services.

It is worth noting that Middle East Healthcare Company contributed an amount of SAR (70) million to this project, representing (23.33%) of the project’s capital of SAR (300) million, as approved by the General Assembly held on 16/07/2022.

There is no financial impact on the company’s results for the current quarter; however, the positive financial impact is expected to gradually appear with the commencement of full operations of the hospital.
