Cervical Smear

The number of cervical smears required is determined by several different factors, including age and risk factors. If a woman is over 30 years old and has had three cervical swab tests in a row and the results are normal, she can take one test every five years. If this test is combined with HPV screening, women over the age of 65 with a history of regular cervical test results can also be able to stop the future cervical smear.
